Soubre Hydropower Project

To date, electricity in Côte d’Ivoire is mainly generated from fossil fuels (natural gas and fuel oil) which leads to considerable greenhouse gas emissions. The project activity will therefore substitute fossil-fuel intensive grid-electricity and cut down GHG emissions by an estimated annual reduction of 607,720 tCO2e.
