C3 Carbon Funding has innovated how to create a better energy credit from large-scale commercial and public energy efficiency projects. Commercial/Public sector buildings consume over 50% of the electricity in the US today. The impact of energy efficiency projects on these buildings result in significant, large-scale emissions reductions. C3 leverages these reductions to create funding opportunities via energy/carbon credits so these project will pencil out. Moreover, the tools, calculations, and methods to create these credits are based on industry proven processes, several risk mitigation strategies, and ongoing performance measurement/reporting. As a result, the C3 energy credits are de-risked and provable in the short- and long-term for our energy credit buyers.
